Alsana Monterey's PHP and IOP programs support adults recovering from anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, OSFED, and diabulimia, as well as co-occurring mental health conditions. These programs often serve clients stepping down from higher levels of care, including Alsana Monterey's own residential program. They also accept direct admissions for people who need early intervention, which can mean less time in treatment, a lower likelihood of relapse, and fewer physical and mental health risks.

Care is delivered by a multidisciplinary team in a home-like environment. Programming includes five group sessions per day, two individual sessions per week with a primary therapist, one psychiatry session per week, two nutrition counseling sessions per week, a weekly nursing assessment, and a weekly session with a supportive other.

For people who have already completed treatment, Alsana offers Two-Week Intensives at the PHP and IOP levels of care for relapse prevention. These are available both in person and virtually. Alsana Monterey encourages former clients to reach out for support whenever they're struggling, no matter how long it's been since they left treatment.

The team can also help clients find recovery-compatible housing near the program. Options include apartments in Pacific Grove, about a 15-minute drive from the day treatment center and within walking distance of historic Downtown Monterey. Amenities include in-home laundry, a private balcony or patio, a garden courtyard, a fitness center, a spa, and a yoga relaxation suite. The apartments are close to the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary, the Monterey Aquarium, and downtown shopping and dining.
