Hello, and welcome to the Discovery Mood and Anxiety Program in Temecula. Here we offer intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs for adolescents ages 11-17 and adults of all ages. Our on-site supports consist of licensed and prelicensed clinicians, mental health technicians, clinical and facility leadership. Learn about all that we are doing to protect the safety and wellbeing of our patients and staff.* The Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program in Temecula is designed to create an atmosphere in which we can help patients to manage their emotional struggles in healthy and appropriate ways. Programs may employ a variety of therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), experiential therapy, behavior modification and others. This location caters to all genders of all ages, and includes a co-occurring substance use disorder (SUD) treatment approaches to help those trying to overcome addiction. Our higher level of care, the partial hospitalization program (PHP), offers daily group therapy, weekly individual and family therapy, support with educational and vocational goals, and weekly psychiatry sessions for medication management. The typical length of stay for PHP is 4-6 weeks, with a schedule that runs Monday through Friday. Our lower level of care, the intensive outpatient program (IOP), offers daily group therapy, and weekly individual therapy. The typical length of stay for IOP is 8-12 weeks, with a schedule that starts at 5 days a week, then stepping down to 3 days per week as progress is achieved.
