Our staff of nurses and doctors make sure that every client is receiving the medication they need in order to safely detox. Each individual patient can require different care, and sometimes a medication that will help one individual will not help the other. This is why we offer individualized care plans that are built around each client’s specific needs. Prior to entering our detox center, we will conduct an over the phone assessment to make sure that the potential client is a good candidate for our program. Once our intake specialist has confirmed that Gravity Treatment Centers will be able to properly help that individual, they will set up an intake plan. When it comes to treating addiction, ensuring a patient’s safety must be done quickly and effectively. Pending bed availability, we are able to admit clients on the same day they call. After all, drug addiction is a matter of life and death, and going on a waiting list will only delay recovery. Once a client enters our detox center they will be given a urine analysis. This will help our staff understand exactly how much that person was using, that way the client can be given the proper amount of medication. When these approaches are combined with an intake assessment, it will allow us to give each client the exact care their condition requires.
