Facility Summary:
Los Angeles Outpatient Center (LAOP) was founded by Nuchie Schapiro in August 2021. Recognizing a critical need for accessible mental health services in the Greater Los Angeles area, Nuchie established LAOP to provide comprehensive outpatient care for individuals seeking support for their mental health challenges. The vision behind LAOP was to create a space where people could receive high-quality, evidence-based treatment while continuing to live their lives, without the need for hospitalization or residential care. LAOP was developed to address the gap in services for those who require intensive mental health support but can maintain their daily responsibilities. At Los Angeles Outpatient Center (LAOP), our mission is to provide a compassionate and inclusive environment where individuals can access high-quality mental health care. We are dedicated to destigmatizing mental illness and offering personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client. By integrating evidence-based practices with innovative therapeutic approaches, we aim to empower our clients to achieve their mental health goals and lead fulfilling lives. Our commitment is to support our clients through every step of their recovery journey, ensuring they receive the care, respect, and understanding they deserve.
