MFI Riverside - Our goal through our outpatient treatment center in Riverside is to treat the individual struggling with substance use beyond just the physical symptoms of drug use and/or alcoholism. The supportive services offered through our treatment programs play an important role in promoting health and recovery. Our programs utilize evidence-based practices through The Matrix Model with cognitive behavior therapy, behavior modification, and 12-step introduction. Our professional staff, substance use counselors and MFT therapists utilize the family systems approach, which promotes treating the whole family, including individual, group and family therapy. Rebuilding close connections with family and friends is essential to successful drug use recovery. Our program’s focus and approach in treating the individual and family helps bring important relationships back from miscommunication and conflict.
