Our mission is to administer quality chemical dependency treatment while providing our clients with a solid grounding in the 12-Step process for lasting personal change within community. We carry out our mission by: Maintaining the highest level of effective, cutting-edge treatment services. Continuously monitoring and reviewing our programs for Quality Assurance. Empowering and supporting our excellent staff members to fulfill our mission and carry out its objectives. Pax House uses the evidence-based therapeutic technique known as Motivational Interviewing (MI). MI is a non-judgmental, non-confrontational, and non-adversarial approach that attempts to increase an individual’s awareness of the full potential impact of their actions and behaviors. The program helps them envision a better future for themselves and find the motivation to achieve it. People change their sense of what is possible for their lives when they begin to fully grasp what might be gained through change. Pax House works with each participant to access the critical hope and motivation needed to change a particular behavior or life circumstance not consistent with their renewed vision for their own lives.
