Located in the lush agricultural heartland of California's famed Central Coast region, Greenfield is positioned midway between the Gabilan and Santa Lucia mountain ranges in the Salinas Valley. Our Greenfield campus, located just 95 miles south of San Jose and 60 miles north of Paso Robles, is a vital part of the community. Cielo Vista was developed to address one of the most difficult problems faced by families of the mentally distressed. Currently many individuals released from facilities offering very high levels of care go home with their families to situations with almost no community support. Needless to say, families are often overwhelmed and the progress the client made “inside” is lost. Cielo Vista was designed to help clients successfully transition back into the community. The structure and services provided by Cielo Vista encompass a level of care and achievement that is not currently duplicated elsewhere in the California mental health care system.
